Australian Rugby League Greats Headline Global App Launch in Las Vegas

Australian sports storytelling platform IN SPORT, founded by Ian and Nicole Lacey, will launch globally from Las Vegas on February 24 with a week-long celebration featuring some of rugby league’s most respected names.
The launch week will include behind-the-scenes storytelling, exclusive podcast recordings, and cultural reflections with:
Wally Lewis
Petero Civoniceva
Kristian Heffernan and Mark Beetson, sons of the late Arthur Beetson
The platform has worked closely alongside the Arthur Beetson Foundation and major community initiatives including the Queensland Murri Carnival, focusing on documenting the human stories behind athletes — identity, leadership, and life beyond the game.
The Las Vegas launch represents the next chapter for the Queensland-founded platform as it expands its storytelling internationally.
Co-founder Ian Lacey says the week is about more than an app rollout.
“This is about celebrating the people and legacy that shaped Australian sport. Launching internationally gives us the opportunity to honour those stories on a global stage.”
Nicole Lacey says the timing reflects growing international interest in Australian sporting culture.
“There’s a global appetite for authentic sporting stories. We’re proud to take a platform built on Queensland community foundations to an international audience.”
